DiMarzio's single bridge humbucker with 500K custom-taper volume and tone pots, a .022 µF capacitor and a Switchcraft two-conductor output jack. The tone signal enters at the tone pot's wiper.

## Specific to this wiring

- The black and white leads are joined and insulated.
- The tone signal enters at the tone pot's middle lug (wiper); the capacitor sits on an end lug.
- The source specifies 500K custom-taper pots. The simulator treats them as linear, so settings between the knob ends are approximate.

## Connections

1. Bridge GREEN → Volume casing (case, green)
2. Bridge BARE → Volume casing (shield, bare)
3. Volume top lug → Volume casing (case, black)
4. Volume top lug → Tone casing (case, black): The tone casing also carries a ground symbol.
5. .022µF capacitor → Tone casing (case)
6. Tone casing → Jack sleeve (wire, black)
7. TO BRIDGE GROUND → Jack sleeve (shield, black): The jack sleeve also carries a ground symbol.
8. Bridge BLACK → Bridge WHITE (insulated, black): Joined and insulated.
9. Bridge RED → Volume bottom lug (input) (wire, red)
10. Volume middle lug → Jack tip (wire)
11. Volume bottom lug → Tone middle lug (wiper) (wire)
12. Tone bottom lug → .022µF capacitor (wire)

## What each position does

- Always on: Bridge pickup (both coils). Source: Single humbucker bridge, with single volume, and single tone.

- The source's 500K custom taper is not reproduced: both pots are simulated with a linear track, so settings between the knob ends are approximate.
- Hum cancelling and phase describe the generic pickup model, not a measured DiMarzio pickup.
- Pickup resistance is not specified, so no numeric meter readings are given.

## Check before plugging in

- With both pots up, the meter across the jack should read the humbucker's resistance.
- The taped black–white joint should read open to ground.
