A Tele harness with a neck single coil and a bridge Seymour Duncan humbucker on a three-way blade, one 250k push/pull volume and one 250k tone with a .047 µF capacitor. Pulling the volume grounds the humbucker series link to split the bridge pickup.

## Specific to this wiring

- The bridge humbucker red and white leads are soldered together onto the volume push/pull middle-left lug, not taped off.
- The push/pull lug nearest the pot goes to the volume casing so pulling the knob grounds the coil link.
- Only one side of the push/pull switch is used; the other three lugs stay empty.
- The source does not number the switch positions; the lugs are mapped by what they do (neck, both, bridge).
- Jack legend: Tip (hot output); Sleeve (ground), the inner, circular portion of the jack.

## What each position does

- Neck, knob down: Neck single coil.
- Neck + bridge, knob down: Neck single coil and Bridge humbucker (both coils) in parallel.
- Bridge, knob down: Bridge humbucker (both coils).
- Neck, knob pulled: Neck single coil.
- Neck + bridge, knob pulled: Neck single coil and Bridge humbucker (split to one coil) in parallel.
- Bridge, knob pulled: Bridge humbucker (split to one coil).

- Hum cancelling and phase describe the generic pickup models, not a measurement of any specific Seymour Duncan model.
- The source does not say which knob position splits; this follows the usual push/pull behaviour (pulled joins the middle lugs to the lugs nearest the pot).

## Check before plugging in

- Knob down: each blade position reads the selected full pickup(s).
- Knob up: the humbucker(s) on the push/pull drop to roughly one coil.
- With the volume at zero, tip and sleeve should read as a short in every position.
