One Tele humbucker · One single coil · Three-way blade · Two volumes (bridge push/pull coil split) · No tone

A Tele with a Seymour Duncan Tele-bridge humbucker and a neck single coil on a three-way blade, each on its own 250k volume. The bridge volume is a push/pull that grounds the humbucker series link to split the bridge pickup. No tone control.

## Parts and values

- Neck pickup: Seymour Duncan neck single coil; generic (Single-coil pickup (two-conductor))
- Bridge pickup: Seymour Duncan Tele bridge humbucker; generic (Humbucker (four-conductor, Seymour Duncan colours))
- 3-Way Switch: 3-Way Switch; compatible example (CRL 3-Way Blade)
- Neck Volume 250k: Neck Volume 250k; 250k; compatible example (CTS 250k Audio Pot)
- Bridge Volume 250k push/pull: Bridge Volume 250k push/pull; 250k; compatible example (250k Push-Pull DPDT)
- Output Jack: Output Jack; compatible example (Switchcraft \#11)
- Bridge Ground: bridge ground wire; generic (Bridge ground wire)

## Specific to this wiring

- The bridge volume is printed as 250k push/pull coil split.
- The bridge humbucker red and white leads are soldered together onto the bridge volume push/pull middle-left lug, not taped off.
- The push/pull lug nearest the pot goes to the bridge volume casing.
- Legend: Solder = location for ground (earth) connections.
- The source does not number the switch positions; the lugs are mapped by what they do (neck, both, bridge).
- Jack legend: Tip (hot output); Sleeve (ground), the inner, circular portion of the jack.

## Connections

1. Neck pickup black → Neck Volume 250k casing (case, black)
2. Bridge pickup green → Bridge Volume 250k push/pull casing (case, green)
3. Neck Volume 250k lug1 → Neck Volume 250k casing (case)

12. 3-Way Switch T3 → 3-Way Switch T2 (bridge, black)
13. 3-Way Switch T2 → 3-Way Switch T6 (bridge, black)
14. 3-Way Switch T6 → 3-Way Switch T5 (bridge, black)
15. 3-Way Switch T5 → Output Jack tip (wire, black)
16. Neck pickup white → Neck Volume 250k lug3 (wire, white)
17. Bridge pickup black → Bridge Volume 250k push/pull lug3 (wire, black)
18. Bridge pickup white → Bridge Volume 250k push/pull sw2 (wire, white)
19. Bridge pickup red → Bridge Volume 250k push/pull sw2 (wire, red)

## What each position does

- Neck, knob down: Neck pickup.
- Neck + bridge, knob down: Neck pickup and Bridge pickup (both coils) in parallel.
- Bridge, knob down: Bridge pickup (both coils).
- Neck, knob pulled: Neck pickup.
- Neck + bridge, knob pulled: Neck pickup and Bridge pickup (split to one coil) in parallel.
- Bridge, knob pulled: Bridge pickup (split to one coil).

- Hum cancelling and phase describe the generic pickup models, not a measurement of any specific Seymour Duncan model.
- The source does not say which knob position splits; this follows the usual push/pull behaviour (pulled joins the middle lugs to the lugs nearest the pot).

## Check before plugging in

- Knob down: each blade position reads the selected full pickup(s).
- Knob up: the humbucker(s) on the push/pull drop to roughly one coil.
- With the volume at zero, tip and sleeve should read as a short in every position.
