# Telecaster with two volumes

A Tele with a 250k volume for each pickup and no tone control: each pickup goes to its own volume, and each volume's middle lug feeds a common on the three-way blade.

## Specific to this wiring

- Each pickup's white lead goes to its own volume's input lug; each volume's middle lug goes to a common lug on the switch.
- Three short jumpers join four of the other switch lugs into one output, which runs to the jack tip. Two lugs stay empty.
- The source does not number the switch positions; the lugs are mapped by what they do (neck, both, bridge).

8. Neck volume middle lug → Switch top-right lug (common) (wire, black)
9. Bridge volume middle lug → Switch bottom-left lug (common) (wire, black)
10. Switch top-left lug → Switch second left lug (bridge, black)
11. Switch second left lug → Switch fourth right lug (bridge, black)
12. Switch fourth right lug → Switch bottom-right lug (bridge, black)
13. Switch bottom-right lug → Jack tip (wire, black)
14. Neck white → Neck volume left lug (input) (wire, white)

## What each position does

- Neck: Neck pickup.
- Neck + bridge: Neck pickup and Bridge pickup in parallel.
- Bridge: Bridge pickup.

- Pickup resistance and magnet polarity are not specified, so no numeric meter readings or hum-cancelling claims are given.

## Check before plugging in

- In each blade position, the meter across the jack should read the selected pickup, or both in parallel in the middle.
- With the selected pickup's volume at zero, tip and sleeve should read as a short.
