Two Strat Stack Plus · Single-coil-sized humbucker (bridge) · 4-pole super 5-way · One volume · One tone

Seymour Duncan sheet: Strat Stack Plus pickups in the neck and middle and a single-coil-sized humbucker in the bridge, on a 4-pole 5-way super switch with a 250k master volume, a 250k tone and a .022 cap. The two in-between positions split both selected pickups; the other three use one pickup whole.

## Specific to this wiring

- 5-Way switch settings: Bridge pickup full; Bridge-split + middle-split (hum canceling); Middle pickup full; Middle-split + neck-split (hum canceling); Neck pickup full.
- Black & bare wires from neck & middle pickups get soldered here, along with green & bare from bridge pickup: the upper Solder spot on the volume casing.
- Switch lead labels as printed: bridge black, neck white, middle white, middle red, bridge red & white, neck red.
- The source does not number the super switch's lugs or positions; the lugs are mapped by what they do (see the terminal mapping).
- Jack: Tip (hot output); Sleeve (ground). The inner, circular portion of the jack.
- The tone cap is printed '.022 cap'.

## Connections

1. Lower wafer lug 1 → Volume casing (lower Solder spot) (case, black): Drawn broken where it passes behind the pickup cables.
2. Lower wafer lug 12 → Volume casing (upper Solder spot) (case, black)
3. Neck black → Volume casing (upper Solder spot) (case, black)
4. Neck drain → Volume casing (upper Solder spot) (shield, bare): Drawn yellow.
5. Middle black → Volume casing (upper Solder spot) (case, black)
6. Middle drain → Volume casing (upper Solder spot) (shield, bare): Drawn yellow.
7. Bridge green → Volume casing (upper Solder spot) (case, green)
8. Bridge bare → Volume casing (upper Solder spot) (shield, bare): Drawn lilac beside the green.
9. Volume third lug → Volume casing (case): Lug bent onto the casing.
10. Volume casing (lower Solder spot) → Jack sleeve (wire, black)
11. .022 cap → Tone casing (Solder spot) (case)
12. Tone casing (Solder spot) → Volume casing (lower Solder spot) (case, black)
13. Bridge black → Upper wafer lug 7 (wire, black): Thin black lead leaving the bridge cable.
14. Upper wafer lug 7 → Upper wafer lug 8 (wire, black): Short jumper.
15. Middle white → Upper wafer lug 3 (wire, white)
16. Upper wafer lug 3 → Upper wafer lug 4 (wire, black): Short jumper.
17. Upper wafer lug 4 → Upper wafer lug 5 (wire, black): Short jumper.
18. Neck white → Upper wafer lug 10 (wire, white)
19. Upper wafer lug 10 → Upper wafer lug 11 (wire, black): Short jumper.
20. Upper wafer lug 1 → Upper wafer lug 12 (wire, black): Arcs over the top and down the left side of the switch.
21. Upper wafer lug 12 → Volume first lug (wire, black): Loops under the switch.
22. Middle red → Lower wafer lug 3 (wire, red)
23. Lower wafer lug 3 → Lower wafer lug 5 (wire, black): Jumper.
24. Bridge white → Lower wafer lug 8 (wire, white): With the bridge red ('bridge red & white').
25. Bridge red → Lower wafer lug 8 (wire, red): With the bridge white ('bridge red & white').
26. Neck red → Lower wafer lug 10 (wire, red)
27. Volume middle lug → Jack tip (wire, black): Hops over the ground wires on the way down.
28. Volume first lug → Tone outer lug (wire, black)
29. Tone middle lug → .022 cap (wire)

## What each position does

- Bridge pickup full: Bridge single-coil-sized humbucker (both coils). Source: Bridge pickup full.
- Bridge-split + middle-split: Middle Strat Stack Plus (split to one coil) and Bridge single-coil-sized humbucker (split to one coil) in parallel. Source: Bridge-split + middle-split (hum canceling).
- Middle pickup full: Middle Strat Stack Plus (both coils). Source: Middle pickup full.
- Middle-split + neck-split: Neck Strat Stack Plus (split to one coil) and Middle Strat Stack Plus (split to one coil) in parallel. Source: Middle-split + neck-split (hum canceling).
- Neck pickup full: Neck Strat Stack Plus (both coils). Source: Neck pickup full.

- The on-board component drawn across the bottom-coil pads of each Strat Stack Plus (no value printed) is not modelled.
- The engine cannot confirm the hum cancelling the legend prints for the two split pairs; it reports those positions as unknown.
- The single-coil-sized bridge humbucker is modelled by a generic four-conductor humbucker; hum cancelling and phase describe the generic models.
- Pickup resistance is not specified, so no numeric meter readings are given.

## Check before plugging in

- In each switch position, the meter across the jack should read the pickup or split pair the legend names.
- In position 1 the bridge red & white lug should read open to ground; in position 2 it should read ground.
