Drawing: https://guitarwiring.app/wiring-diagrams/tonerider/one-p90-one-volume.svg (back of controls) ## Parts and values - P90: P90 (white, black, bare shield); generic (Single-coil pickup (two-conductor)) - Volume 500kA: Volume 500kA; 500k; compatible example (CTS 500k Audio Pot) - Output Jack: Output Jack; compatible example (Switchcraft \#11) - Ground Wire from Bridge: Ground Wire from Bridge; generic (Bridge ground wire) ## Specific to this wiring - The P90's white lead goes to the volume's left lug; its black lead and the Bare Shield Wire both go to the solder spot on the volume casing. - The volume's right lug is bent onto the casing, and the Ground Wire from Bridge ends on the same casing spot. - The jack lugs are not labelled in the source: the lug fed from the volume's middle lug is the tip and the lug wired to the casing is the sleeve. ## Connections 1. P90 black (with Bare Shield Wire) → Volume casing (case, black): The source draws the black lead and the Bare Shield Wire to the same casing spot; one wire stands for both. 2. Volume right lug → Volume casing (case): Short black link. 3. Volume casing → Jack sleeve (wire) 4. Ground Wire from Bridge → Volume casing (shield) 5. P90 white → Volume left lug (input) (wire, white) 6. Volume middle lug → Jack tip (wire) ## What each position does - Always on: P90.
