Three single coils · Five-way blade · One volume · Neck and middle tones

Tonerider's 50s/60s standard Strat: three single coils on a five-way blade, a 250k master volume, and 250k neck and middle tones sharing one .022 µF capacitor. The bridge pickup has no tone control.

## Specific to this wiring

- The front side of the blade selects the pickups: from the top, the bridge white, the middle yellow, the neck white and the common. The common is jumpered to the rear common, which runs to the volume input.
- On the rear side, the middle lug feeds the middle tone and the neck lug feeds the neck tone. The bridge lug stays empty, so the bridge pickup has no tone control.
- One .022 µF capacitor sits between the neck tone and its casing; a jumper links the neck tone to the middle tone so both share it.
- All three pickup black leads and the jack sleeve end on the volume casing. The sheet draws no bridge ground wire.

## Connections

1. Neck black → Volume casing (case, black)
2. Middle black → Volume casing (case, black)
3. Bridge black → Volume casing (case, black)
4. Volume ground lug → Volume casing (case, black)
5. .022µf cap → Neck Tone casing (case)
6. Neck Tone casing → Volume casing (case, black)
7. Mid Tone casing → Neck Tone casing (case, black)
8. Jack sleeve → Volume casing (wire, black)
9. Bridge white → Switch front top lug (wire, white)
10. Middle yellow → Switch front second lug (wire, yellow)
11. Neck white → Switch front third lug (wire, white)
12. Switch front common → Switch rear common (wire, black): Jumper across the blade.
13. Switch rear common → Volume input lug (wire, black)
14. Switch rear neck lug → Neck Tone middle lug (wire, black)
15. Switch rear middle lug → Mid Tone lug (wire, black)
16. Volume middle lug → Jack tip (wire, white)
17. .022µf cap → Neck Tone outer lug (wire)
18. Neck Tone outer lug → Mid Tone lug (wire): Bare jumper so both tones share the capacitor.

## What each position does

- Bridge: Bridge pickup.
- Bridge + middle: Middle pickup and Bridge pickup in parallel.
- Middle: Middle pickup.
- Middle + neck: Neck pickup and Middle pickup in parallel.
- Neck: Neck pickup.

- Pickup resistance and magnet polarity are not specified, so no numeric meter readings or hum-cancelling claims are given.

## Check before plugging in

- In each blade position, the meter across the jack should read the selected pickup, or two pickups in parallel in positions 2 and 4.
- With the volume at zero, tip and sleeve should read as a short.
- In position 1 (bridge), turning either tone should not change the sound.
