5. Black wire from the back-row lug beside the neck series pair loops right and down, then left to the top solder spot on the volume casing. → Black wire from the back-row lug beside the neck series pair loops right and down, then left to the top solder spot on the volume casing. (wire, black)
6. Volume right lug is bent to the casing (short black link). → Volume right lug is bent to the casing (short black link). (wire, ground)
7. The capacitor's other leg goes to the solder spot on the tone casing. → The capacitor's other leg goes to the solder spot on the tone casing. (wire, black)
8. The tone casing goes to a ground symbol ('Connection to Ground'); joined to the volume casing here. → The tone casing goes to a ground symbol ('Connection to Ground'); joined to the volume casing here. (wire, ground)
9. The jack's sleeve lug goes to a ground symbol ('Connection to Ground'); joined to the volume casing here. → The jack's sleeve lug goes to a ground symbol ('Connection to Ground'); joined to the volume casing here. (wire, ground)
10. 'Ground Wire from Bridge' ends on the small solder spot on the volume casing, which also goes to a ground symbol. → 'Ground Wire from Bridge' ends on the small solder spot on the volume casing, which also goes to a ground symbol. (wire, ground)
11. Neck red runs up and right to the second lug of the switch's front row (from the left), the lug mapped to the neck contact (positions 2 to 4). → Neck red runs up and right to the second lug of the switch's front row (from the left), the lug mapped to the neck contact (positions 2 to 4). (wire, red)
12. Neck black runs with the neck white over the top of the drawing and down into the rightmost lug of the switch's back row (mapped to pole B common). → Neck black runs with the neck white over the top of the drawing and down into the rightmost lug of the switch's back row (mapped to pole B common). (wire, black)
13. Neck white runs with the neck black to the same rightmost back-row lug (pole B common). → Neck white runs with the neck black to the same rightmost back-row lug (pole B common). (wire, white)
14. Bridge red runs up and right to the first (top-left) lug of the switch's front row, mapped to the bridge contact (positions 1 and 2). → Bridge red runs up and right to the first (top-left) lug of the switch's front row, mapped to the bridge contact (positions 1 and 2). (wire, red)
15. Bridge black runs with the bridge white up and right to the third lug of the front row, mapped to the contact live in positions 4 and 5. → Bridge black runs with the bridge white up and right to the third lug of the front row, mapped to the contact live in positions 4 and 5. (wire, black)
16. Bridge white runs with the bridge black to the same third front-row lug. → Bridge white runs with the bridge black to the same third front-row lug. (wire, white)
17. Grey wire from the last (bottom-right) front-row lug, mapped to pole A common, down to the volume's left lug (back view, lugs down). → Grey wire from the last (bottom-right) front-row lug, mapped to pole A common, down to the volume's left lug (back view, lugs down). (wire, signal)
18. Volume middle lug runs right to the output jack's tip lug. → Volume middle lug runs right to the output jack's tip lug. (wire, signal)

## What each position does

- The catalog selector model does not reach the output jack on every drawn throw (selectionReachesTip); position labels follow the source sheet, not a verified simulation table.
- Series-link wires sit on the signal path as drawn; the engine rejects that topology (seriesLinkIsolated) but the transcription matches the manufacturer diagram.
