Each Model J is individually humbucking (not a stack): each coil picks up one pair of strings. Official: warmth and roundness of a traditional Jazz Bass with increased power. Set DP123 is two different lengths (short neck, long bridge). Ceramic, 6.82 kΩ. Introduced 1979.
