Specific to this wiring
- Source title: '1 VOLUME push/pull Phase Switch', '1 TONE push/pull Master Series/Parallel Switch', '3 WAY TOGGLE'.
- Each humbucker's white, green, black, red and bare leads solder to the ring pads labelled W, G, B, R and Gnd.
- The ring cable leaves two unlabelled pads on each ring; at the controls it shows white, black and bare (grey) conductors. Seymour Duncan's Triple Shot installation sheet gives the ring lead as white = hot, black and bare = ground.
- The ribbon from each ring's pads to its two mini switches is internal to the ring and is not drawn as wires here.
- The lower ring's white and black conductors go to the two middle lugs of the volume push/pull; its top and bottom lugs are cross-wired in an X.
- The upper ring's black and bare conductors go to the tone casing; its white conductor goes to the tone push/pull middle-right lug.
- The tone push/pull's two lugs nearest the pot are jumpered together; its bottom-left lug goes to the tone casing.
- The volume's right lug is bent onto the casing. The tone's third lug is left unconnected.
- The source legend marks the grey 'Solder' spots as the location for ground (earth) connections.
- Sleeve (ground): the inner, circular portion of the jack. Tip: hot output.
- The pickups, the toggle lugs and the push/pull lugs are not labelled in the source; the upper pickup is taken as the neck, and the toggle and push/pull tags are mapped by what each does.

- Topology only: each Triple Shot ring's four settings are modelled from Seymour Duncan's installation sheet rather than this wiring sheet. The engine agrees with every expected state (192 of 192).
- Hum cancelling and phase describe the generic pickup models, not a measurement of any specific Seymour Duncan model.
- Pickup resistance is not specified, so no numeric meter readings are given.
- Each Triple Shot ring is modelled from Seymour Duncan's Triple Shot installation sheet (four settings: series, parallel, slug coil, adjustable coil); the wiring sheet draws only the ring's pads, cable and ribbon.
- The source does not say which knob position does what; this follows the usual push/pull behaviour (pulled joins the middle lugs to the lugs nearest the pot).

Check before plugging in
- Both knobs down, both rings on series: each toggle position reads the selected humbucker, or both in parallel in the middle.
- Pull the tone: the middle and bridge positions read both pickups in series; the neck position is open.
- Pull the volume: the middle position puts the two pickups out of phase.
Measure across the output jack with a multimeter on its resistance range. No exact readings are given where the source does not specify the pickups.
